Featured is a gorgeous French Made Figural Spelter and marble clock set titled "INSPIRATION" dating from c1890-1900. Spelter metal is very similar to Bronze, and was commonly used for sculptures in the 19c. In excellent condition this lovely clock set is damage free, is artist signed and is a complete and original working Clock set. The theme is a word play first on the inspiration that the lovely lady has found in nature and second the inspiration the lovely lady gives the viewer. The clock's movement has just been cleaned and it has a bell chime on the 1/2 and 1 Hour. The clock measures 18 1/2" in height, 10 3/8" in width and 5 1/4" in depth. The matching side urns each measure 11 3/4" in height, 5 1/2" in width and 4" in depth. What a wonderful investment work of quality craftsmanship for the collector or discerning Horologist.
