Featured is a Stunning antique 19c staffordshire Transferware plate signed Stambol, which is reflective of a scene from Istanbol. The piece has insized marks with no chips, or cracks, but does have usual age crazing. With bright colors and interesting subject matter, this plate measures 1" in ht, and 8 1/2" in width. The heavily patterned border reflects the turkish themes by it's arched pattern. I do have 4 other companion pieces in the this pattern, equal in quality and condition, makes a great grouping or buy them individually.
